Last year we extended our main catering tent to include music and several smaller specialist food venders.
Music and Food
The music went down so well at last years event, so we have booked them all again. The ever popular Bill Bailey Band with his own style of jazz. Rachel Hayward, a world class Steel pan solo artist performing her eclectic mix of calypso, reggae and jazz. The Swingtime Sweethearts performing a wide range of songs from the forties, wartime and swing.
The Kevins, a song writing duo of Kevin O’Regan and Kevin Ward performing original songs that are broadly folk in character. Castleford Brass round off the proceedings on Sunday with a blast of traditional brass band and seasonal music.
There are other food courts around the show with open and enclosed seating offering opportunity to enjoy some of the amazing foods from around the world.
We look forward to food from around the world, for example, Istanbul with the Istanbul Grill, The Punjab with the Little Punjabi Food
Company and Kruger Biltong the true taste of South Africa, Biltong, Droewors and South African Toasties .
We have plenty more worldwide street food as well as some more local, Traditional Greek Souvlak, Halloumi Wraps, La Vera Pizza, Braai Flavours, and more locally The Mussel Pod from Branston.
Through to the bar enjoy a large real ale or try some of our many perries or wines.
